My wife and I took our JL on the Gold Mountain Trail in Big Bear for the first time. Has been a few years since we last ran it in our old JK and we found it a bit more challenging with the new gate keeper and sections being more rutted out. Last part is of Little John Bull. We were planning to run John Bull after Gold Mountain but I made a stupid rookie mistake and didn't fill up on gas, I thought half a tank would have been enough for these short trails but after completing Little John Bull we started getting a low gas message and decided to call it day. We still had a great time on Gold Mountain and plan to hit John Bull next time!
