    Gladiator Rubicon JTR TOW QUESTION

I'm considering selling my 18 JLUR and a 08 Dodge 1500 4x4 5.7 and getting Gladiator Rubicon after the first of the year. My questions is, has anyone driven one with 37" tires, stock gearing, towing 3500lbs thru the Colorado mountain passes of I-70. How does it handle the highway passes/hills...

Mopar lift JL JLU Jeep Wrangler

I'm running the Mopar 2" suspension lift and agree, you get 3"-3.5" of lift, which give plenty of room for 37s. So far I love it. Haven't done any severe wheeling, mostly moderate+ trails (scale 1-10, we do 6-8). No issues yet🤞🤞 We did replace F&R track bars with the Rancho's adjustable ones...

    Gearing vs towing question

Ok, I have a 18 JLUR (Automatic) with 37s and regeared to 4:88, love it. However I did it because we occasionally tow a 3000 lb trailer. 70% of towing is done on the rolling hill highways in Missouri, with the remainder being Colorado mountain highways, which we will be heading to this summer...

    Computer Flash-Steering Upgrade

While my JLUR was at dealership getting a gear upgrade, I was informed they also preformed a Computer Upgrade for the steering. Apparently between Oct 2017 and May 2018 Jeep accidently programmed the steering for the JLURs with the 2dr JL program. Long wheel base steering vs short wheel base...

4:88s, not so popular, but gonna try it

Well, got my JLUR back from the dealership today. 4:88 Spicer AdvanTEK gears installed as well as DANA AdvanTEK 44 Front & Rear differential covers and a Rancho Front Diff Skid. Drove home from dealership, via the highway, and stayed in 8th gear 90% of the time. Before gear change, same route...

4:88s, not so popular, but gonna try it

Well, after debating for several months and reading all the post for and against regearing for the JLUR with 37's, I've decided to pull the plug and buy a set of Spicer 4:88's. I also pull a 3000 lb trailer, plus normal off-roading gear at times. I figured why not, somebody needs to try it and...
