I want the rugged ridge when they come out, and sure hope soon. Would make a great Christmas gift for myself. Lol.

If anyone else gets these installed lmk if yours work correct for the drl. I just realized the drl’s are not working now. Signals work and they work with headlights on but no drl. I wired them in per standard non led schematic cause I don’t have the led package.

I got mine in last week, but I have not installed them. I have the led package so I am hoping that they work as drl. I don’t have mine programmed (taser mini) to run, but will with the new rugged ridge ones.

Wish those of have installed would post pics.

Shouldn’t have to program it if drl’s were enabled from the factory as mine were. I have the tazer and my try fucking with the settings to see if it works. If not o well. I also have a tech case open with rugged ridge so I’ll see what they say

Sucks that they are not working right. Makes me want to wait to install. They sure do look good though.

Issue resolved. I just switched the wiring in the RR harness. The white wire in the RR harness I had connected to the red for the fender light was for markers in the oem connector. I just switched the connection to the red/green splice, which is for drl and park lights in the oem connector. Everything functions correct now. Drl’s work and come on/off as selected in uconnect. Was super easy to figure out, being I’m a tech, but I still haven’t heard back from RR in over a week. Love the kit but disappointed in RR for no tech support to answer an easy simple question I had regarding rubicon oem wiring

Was super easy. I am a mechanic and do all my own mods, fabricating, etc so I’m used to working on stuff all the time. I didn’t remove the fenders like the instructions say to cause I didn’t want to break the clips that hold them to the body. The push clips for the inner fenders broke but those are a dime a dozen. The install, to me, with the fenders on was simple. I used a razor knife for all the plastic cuts with ease, but I live in AZ and it was around 75 when I did it. Wiring was easy to figure out once I had the time to look at the oem and RR harnesses. Took less then 2 hrs for total install. Once you figure out the first side, the second side takes less then half the time.

I am going to try and do it without taking my fenders off as well. I have lots of clearance between my tires and the fenders so hopefully it will be pretty easy.
