Yes, that is definitely very groovy. As stated most would have kept it. I saw a refund for an undisclosed amount pop up on my PayPal about 5 minutes ago and thought maybe you were going to make me return it. LOL.

Would a whistler TRX-2 Fit?

TRX-2 Unit Dimensions 1.75 in. H x 7.12 in. W x 5.31 in. L
Unit Weight 2.09 lbs.

You can pretty much install any CB radio, race radio or even ham radio to this CB BAR. They all have their own mounting brackets that will get bolted to it. I've included 2 different standard mounting hole setups but if yours is still different from them, you should be able to drill holes in the bracket that comes with your CB to make it work.

Any idea when you’ll have more in stock?

I have a big order in right now and they should be ready any day now. However, I will be out of town this week so I won't be able to get them in the store and shipping until next week. Sorry.

Looks nice...I noticed the one picture with the rearview mirror. No issues on the view or it getting in the way?

Depending on how you have your seat adjusted, yes, you technically can see a sliver of your radio in the very top part of the mirror. But it absolutely does not hamper any of the useful and effective sight radius of the rear view mirror.

What Jeepers Creeper said ^^^^

The whole reason why I included the pic of the mirror was to show how the CB does not interfere with your rear view mirror.

will this also fit a 2106 jk ?

mike

As it is shown in this thread, no. The brackets are totally different on a JL. However, I am having new brackets made for the JK and I should have them ready to ship by next week.

Does the placement of the CB Bar in that location interfere with that passenger side airbag that is located up there? This is a great idea, if we can get past that airbag issue, I'll have to look at this more closely.1536700983758~2.jpeg

Ummm, I'm pretty sure that is not the passenger side air bag but rather, just an indicator light for it.
