To be honset, when I first saw the message "Fail" i thought i messed it all up and done something wrong. Now had I had the message "Try Again" it would have been less stressful [emoji23] and make me feel more at ease.

But admit it, you've never felt so ALIVE. Like being given 6 weeks to live, but getting your life back two weeks later when you were informed that the doctor made a mistake/misdiagnosis.

Actually, that really happened to me in 2004.

I sure did..

As for getting misdiagnosed and then later it being a mistake. Well I would totally flip after coming back from a bucket list trip.

Which is why I changed what it says ;)
It’s due to the Jeep not responding to requests. I’ve been doing this for years in all sorts of FCA vehicles and only the JL refuses to respond at times. I’ll likely implement an auto-retry in the next revision so you don’t have to deal with manually trying again.
Well at least now any new first timers wont experience that sudden feeling of fear of they have bricked the jeep or tazer. [emoji23]

It could have been alot worse had a more scarier message pop up [emoji12] like "Nice try, but you just bricked your Jeep" [emoji23]

Be sure in "LIGHTS" that you have location set to USA. Do this and then retry.
I'll try that, as I was trying to look for where I can change the region, I will go through it all again.

By the way I know this ma be a pain to ask, but has anyone got a close up picture of their headlight ? Especially the halo ring?

I was going to post these pics a while ago, but never did. I thought maybe yours did not have a ring installed. Here's a pic of the full headlight, and here's a close-up where you can see the striations of the ring.

Thanks for the close up picture...

If you look at the previous page where I posted my headlight and the halo ring looks exactly the same. Now I will also take a closer picture tomorrow to see if I have the striations too. But from what I can see I have the same Halo ring around my headlight unless it's just there for looks, but with a close snap shot & hopefully find out if I do.

I know this may be a silly topic, but it kinda sucks when you see others having a simple option standard that you don't especially when I paid high price tag.

I thought I saw the Halo ring on your previous pictures, that's why I never intended to post mine.

I don't think that is a silly to expect your features to be fully functional. Originally I disliked Halos on Jeeps, especially when they started showing up on JK's. But the stock Halo on my JL... I love it. I'm hoping that you are able to sort this out so that your Halos work.

Don't try, do it! In LIGHTING, unless you change location to USA you are not going to get things working right. I am not guessing or speculating on on this. You must set location to USA.

Look at the connectors to your lights and see if there are empty spots. In some countries halos are illegal so they aren't even wired in from factory.

Select lighting...

And then you can cycle through different options...

While we are on the subject, when choosing location of DRL, what is "SRT"...

Thanks for taking the screen shots and step by step walkthrough.

For me I have all the options you have shown except for the first one. For region I have N/A.

I also noticed the SRT which was enabled and was wondering what could it be.

Thanks Eddie for the write up and screen shots. Made installing my Tazer JL Lite a breeze:thumb:

Thought I would post my experience.
I installed my Tazer JL Lite 2 days ago. I watched Eddie's install video which made it very easy, better than the instructions that came with it, for me. The hardest part was unplugging the 2 connectors. Removing the panel below the steering wheel was easy and made it much more convenient. Once the Tazer JL Lite was plugged in, I went through the menu to marry it. It showed a "fail system busy" the first time. I did have my door open with the beeping sounding. So I closed my door and tried again and everything went seamless. I don't know if my door being opened caused the "fail" the first time, but thought I would point it out in case others have experienced this. Very happy

TPMS light not going off after lowering threshold...

I couldn't find where this has been mentioned, but I lowered the TPMS threshold on the front rear to 20psi. All four of my tires are at 31-32 psi currently. I don't get the warning on the center screen anymore asking me to "inflate to 37psi", but the yellow TPMS warning light is still on. I can only get it to go away if I turn TPMS off completely, which I don't want to do since that will disable the warning if it drops below the threshold I set.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Set the pressure with the Tazer to the street pressure you want to run. TPMS will warm for under and over inflation. That should get rid of the light.

Tried that...didn't get rid of the TPMS light. Setting the pressure to the street pressure you want to run would defeat the purpose of setting low psi thresholds. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the whole point of this Tazer option to set a low psi for those who air down on trails so you don't trigger a TPMS warning light?

Any other ideas?

No the whole point is to be able to lower the thresholds for on road. When you go to 35s/37s u will run in the 25-30 psi range and u want the lights to work around there.

When airing down off road the light should be on as the tire is damn near flat.

There is a minimum threshold you can go down to. U may have gone too low.
